Originally from Fort Collins, I developed a love for fishing at an early age. After graduating college with a degree in fisheries biology my passion became a career path. My love and knowledge of fish continue to grow as I get to spend everyday on the water studying fish still, but these days with a fly rod.
During the summer months (May-July) you can find me primarily in Creede, Colorado on the Rio grande pitching dry flys and streamers at banks for wild brown trout. After the flows drop out on the Rio grande I move back to Durango to guide on the
- Animas River: The heartbeat of Durango, the animas offers great year round fishing right through town with a long float window!
- San Juan River: Located in New Mexico, this legendary tail water offers year round floating and frequent shots at trophy trout.
- Mountain creeks: Get off the beaten path and catch native cutthroat and wild brookies. There are many creeks with fish from Durango to Silverton!
- Private Access: Fish less pressured water and see less people on private land!
